We'd love to hear from you if you are passionate about Jesus and keen to make Orwell 3 an unforgettable holiday for our young people. Each summer we need a sizeable team of Pathfinder leaders, Assistant Leaders and Cooks to enable camp to happen!

Who can be a volunteer?
We need all kinds of people so get in touch with us. We have leaders from a variety of churches and we’d love for you to join our team. We have a safer recruitment process which includes church references, a DBS check and safeguarding training.

Could you join us as an Assistant Leader?

For most volunteers this is the place to start, and it's a great introduction to the various parts of our Venture. You'll be part of a team and have the support to explore or grow in faith as you serve alongside one another.
What about families?
Families are a crucial part of life at our Venture, in fact, it wouldn’t be the same without them! If children are old enough, they often get adopted by a dorm. There is a caring community in the dedicated families block, and bible teaching and fellowship is a part of that community.

How much does it cost?
We ask leaders to pay full member fees if at all possible – this is clearly a sacrifice but it means we can keep fees as low as possible for the Pathfinders. However, if paying the full amount is a problem please don’t worry. Your ‘fees’ are treated as a donation so you should see it like that – and give as you are able to.
